Production

As a producer, my work is still limited professionally. When I was a child I would produce plays with my neighbourhood kids, but as I ascended to university I began utilising my abilities in organisation and logistical thinking to produce actual productions - from script, to direction, dealing with missing actors, editing sound and video together - it's a jack-of-all trades kind of job, and that's something I pride myself on.

This is Me

This was a small challenge that I undertook in a mizzling rainstorm for aesthetic purposes with the very simple brief of "make an introduction video for yourself in 2 hours." I do not like talking about myself, hence the awkwardness, but there you go. It's pretty enough to look at the moss and the leaves.

In the Will of Love

Affectionately known as its acronym "ITWOL" throughout production, this radio play was my first true 'baby' - its present form is half-finished as this was how it was presented to the unviersity for the assignment; and how I'd like to keep it in the public domain as an example, and not a full radio-play.

It follows the story of Jordan, a Northern lad who is hurled back in time after accidentally clicking on a TikTok advert for a mobile game by the title's name. Mistaken identity lands him with a grand estate but it is only with assistance from Alice - disgraced aristocrat turned maid - that he can find his way out of the past - and into her heart.

"START Inspiring Minds" 30th Anniversary Charity Exhibition

During the summer of 2023 Salford Museum & Art Gallery is hosting mental health and community charity "START" with an exhibition on 'People and Portraits in Salford', to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the charity's tenure in the city.

I was commissioned as Producer, and with a small crew (including Daniel Lawson as Sound Engineer; Ellison Jaleel as Camera Operator; and Kane Young as Editor) we were brought in to record and document the event of its grand opening on Saturday 25th May 2023. I covered the call sheet, legalities of filming with the public, and organised the project in tandem with START, the Museum, and The University of Salford.

Timmy's Journey

I merely played a supporting role in this production as a Runner and Sound Assistant - but it was a wonderful experience and I felt honoured to be a part of this 48 hour Animation Jam. Created for a contest in which the animators and sound producers must create an animation to a theme within just 48 hours (pretty much what it says on the tin!) - and I was happy to help as their gopher (go-for? It's a very funny pun).
